Project 365: Radishes

Day 32

Radishes are one of those vegetables that are beautiful in color, but only seem to get love as a topping for salads. I’ve gotten hooked on making and eating refrigerator pictures, and have a batch of them in the fridge waiting to turn into pickle goodness. I will post the recipes for the two types of radish pickles that I made this weekend. In the meantime, here are a couple of photos of the radishes before and after pickling.

    1. Thank you. Radishes are an acquired taste, and I’d never really thought about other ways to eat them outside of pickling or salad/sandwich toppings. Now, I’ve learned that you can roast them and use them to make chips.
